Dr Theodora Mantzourani

Dr. Theodora Mantzourani is a senior GP-both NHS and private-with many years of experience. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (London) and has completed postgraduate studies in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey, in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Queen Mary, University of London(MSc) and in Practical Dermatology at the Cardiff University.

She is an international speaker and a lecturer at the International Master Program in Preventive, Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine at the Dresden International University teaching functional medicine and systems biology. 

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Antiaging Medicine and a certified practitioner with the IFM-Institute of Functional Medicine.

 Her mission is to improve patient outcomes through prevention, early assessment and comprehensive management of complex, chronic disease. To this end, she employs a combination of conventional and functional approaches to health and disease.

She has a special interest in  Functional Endocrinology and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement

 Dr. Mantzourani is interested in weight management and body composition/body sculpting, nutritional medicine, preventative medicine and anti-aging treatments. She is particularly interested in obesity and obesity-related disease such as insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. 

Her motto is "back to basics" - back to the patient's life story and the processes wherein disease originates and back to the desire of healthcare practitioners to make people well, not just manage symptoms.
